Don't just have it, have it handy

Now, I'm by no means a battle-scarred veteran of hurricanes, but I did learn one valuable lesson during Georges ('98) I'd like to share: It's one thing to have the things you need; It's another to have them where you can find them. I was proud of myself. I had bought a battery powered lantern, and batteries for it and the several flashlights we had. But by the time the transformer in our Gulfport neighborhood flooded and blew out the power, it was pitch dark and I forgot where I put them. I stumbled around in the dark for a long time before I found the first flashlight. Later on, as our roof started leaking, I also had to hunt for the buckets and plastic sheeting I knew I had. Lesson: Keep everything where you can find it even in the dark — Geoff Pender

Cool blog. However I am looking for info on Mesothelioma or Mesothelioma Lawyers. I would also like to find info on Asbestos and Asbestos Lawyers
