How to: Money to Laurel and Jackson

hlperry77 e-mails: I have family members in Laurel and in Jackson who I would like to help. Does anyone have any idea about how I can get money directly to them? Are the post office or Western Union viable options considering power outages throughout the area? I would greatly appreciate suggestions from anyone in that area or from anyone who has the same problem."

Comments:
I AM SPEAKING TO A FRIEND ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW WHO LIVES IN LAUREL AND HE SAID THE POST OFFICE IS DELIVERING AND UP AND RUNNING. SOME BANKS ARE OPEN BUT ARE NOT CONNECTED TO NETWORKS. THEY ARE JUST WORKING OFF OF WHAT MONEY IS AVAILABLE INSIDE THE BANK ITSELF. MY FREIND IN LAUREL IS A FIREFIGHTER IN LAUREL OF THE GLADE COMMUNITY. HE IS WILLING TO GO AND CHECK ON YOUR LOVED ONE. PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW IF WE CAN BE OF ANY HELP.

I FORGOT TO GIVE YOU MY EMAIL ADDRESS. IT IS UNICORN92664@AOL.COM

I am in Washington DC but have been able to get money to Laurel, Hammond, and other areas via Western Union.
