Hub City might not be far enough

Hattiesburg should be better than on the Coast, but you may have a point, Gayle. They're saying 110 mph winds up in Hattiesburg are possible, so it could get bad there, too. Wherever she goes, she needs to make sure she's staying in a safe building/house. I don't think there are any hotel rooms in Hattiesburg, nor probably anywhere near at this point, but she can look at postings below for shelters statewide and a number to check hotel reservations in the region. She might want to come stay with you in Memphis. Anybody else want to chime in with advice for Gayle and her daughter? — Geoff Pender
